Brief

  • To design and deliver a training programme for the Currys’ Mobile Communication launch
  • Ensure staff gain the product knowledge and sales skills to ensure the launch success and drive sales
  • Produce an in-store training programme that would engage staff, encourage learning and embed the key messages

Approach

  • Beyond The Box produced an interactive ‘Training Pack’ which included a training presenter, comprehensive trainer’s notes, a special DVD explaining in-house systems and training games to embed key messages
  • 550 stores each to receive a ‘Training Pack’ through the post prior to the product launch

Results

  • 98% of stores deployed the ‘Training Pack’ prior to the product launch
  • Feedback from managers was that the pack was ‘easy to follow’ and ‘made training fun’
