Product Training DVD – used as a tool for instore sales staff
Beyond The Box were approached by Bosch to write and present the content for a training DVD. This was sent to all stores within a major retail company.
It was initially commissioned with the objective of reaching and training all Comet store staff involved with the selling of Bosch products, immediately prior to a sales incentive programme that ran from the end of September until mid-November.
It was apparent from in-store contact as well as from the EPOS sales data that the promotion had started really positively.
The objective of the promotion was to increase Bosch sales by 35% during the promotion period. However they were astounded by the final results which showed a 67% increase in their sales compared to the corresponding weeks in the previous year.
Conclusions
Training helps build confidence to sell premium products and continues long after a promotion has finished.
